Theremin
Summary
The theremin is the first electronic musical instrument named after its inventor, Leon Theremin, who patented the device in 1928. It consists of two metal antennas that sense the relative position of the performer's hands. They interact as capacitors driving a control oscillator circuit for each antenna: right hand drives frequency while left hand drives amplitude.
The project is based on the OpenTheremin from Urs Gaudenz.
Arduino Makefile library has been used in conjunction with Emacs to program and test the software.
